Help less fortunate students get tools they need

August 17, 2010

When my daughter goes to school, we will browse those aisle of pencils, crayons and colored pencils that she loves so much, making sure she has everything she needs to succeed in school. Because we can. It pains me to think about the families who are struggling to get to their elementary, middle or high school every day. Children don’t have books, back packs or even pencils because they just can’t afford it. They don’t have the very tools that will help them to find their purpose and their passion.
