Fashion Looks for Valentine’s Day

Fashion Looks for Valentine’s Day

Since the pandemic, date nights are becoming more casual and relaxed and I get that! Sometimes I would love to wear my most beautiful gown and get out of the house for a special dinner…but realistically I still get a little bit lazy and the option of staying home most likely prevails.

I don’t deny the desire to get all dressed up, have beautiful makeup and then relax in front of an amazing meal and cocktail.

The frigid days in Michigan make me fall into a winter-style rut, which is why street style can be a great source of inspiration, and this year I invested in a super cute sweatsuit with lots of sequins! So, I can be super comfy but at the same time stylish and sparkly!

Now that Valentine’s Day is approaching, I have a few easy and cute ideas for you that you can also use for many other occasions, with or without your valentine!

Casual Look

Everyone has a pair of jeans in their closet. Even though I’m not a big fan of jeans, I love to play with them to create practical, versatile, and chic looks. I love to pair my jeans with a silky blouse and a blazer. Of course, for this special occasion, I picked a Schiaparelli pink! You can add a pair of kitten heel pumps (promise they are very comfortable) and a cute hat to give more character and personality to your look.

Romantic Look

If you are looking for something more romantic, pick a skirt with some patterns (I’m a big lover of floral skirts) and add a blouse with some details, like ruffles or a bow. Personally, years ago I used to shop in vintage stores and look for faux fur coats: timeless and indispensable! I strongly recommend adding in your closet an off-white fur cape. You can wear it even over jeans!

To make this look more appropriate for cold winter weather, I preferred to wear a pair of boots with it.

Edgy Look

If you are looking for a more dramatic effect, you can’t go wrong with an all-black ensemble. The trick about wearing all black is to play with textures. In this case, I picked a pair of satin pants and a velvet top. Of course, I needed to add one more texture. A vegan leather jacket. Of course, a pair of pumps is a MUST to complete this look.

Would you like to add a touch of romanticism? Add a necklace with pearls and crystals to give more brightness to your smile.

Stay at Home Look

My favorite look for a stay home special night is my sequin tracksuit. And if at the last minute you decide to go out… it’s very simple! Add a pair of sparkling pumps and a tailored coat to complete the look! Tracksuits nowadays reached a different level in the fashion world. We often see celebrities wearing beautiful sweatpants to attend social events.

Just make sure the fit is right and you add some cool details to your favorite tracksuit.
And, if you still need some extra accessories….wear your tiara and you are ready to go!
