5 Goals for the New Year

New Year, New Goals!

It’s that time of year again. Time to say, “out with the old, and in with the new.”  What do we mean by saying that? We mean that old habits should die hard, and it’s time to focus on new and improved ones. No, we’re not going to tell you to get to the gym or start living on a liquid diet. Here’s how we suggest preparing for a fresh start in 2019!

Closet Cleanup

If there’s one thing that’s guaranteed to change from year to year, it’s your style! We know you remember those days when plaid was perfect and go-go boots were your go-to. Well it’s time to say “goodbye” to those looks from back in the day and revamp that wardrobe! Take a look through your closet and donate what you no longer want. A good rule of thumb is if you haven’t worn it once in the past year, it’s good to go!

Office Organization

Organized chaos is not the type of chaos that you need in your life. If you work from home, then your workplace should be not feel chaotic. What would your boss say if they saw your space? Even if you’re the boss, you are a boss babe who deserves a beautiful office. Spruce up your space with some new binders, bins, and baskets to store what you need, and shred the stuff you don’t need!

Personal Planner

Losing track of your time and schedule is a frustrating thing. I’m sure we’ve all shown up late, or at the wrong place at the wrong time at least once in our lives! Make your life that much easier by just planning it out. Whether you prefer pen and paper, or the calendar in your phone, jotting down your schedule for each coming week will save you stress and embarrassment!

Journal Junkie

New year, new you is the popular saying going around, but we prefer new year, new goals. Don’t think that you have to change who you are to live a better life. Just focus on a few things to change, and work towards that. One of the simplest ways to start is by writing your goals down. Just by doing that, “you are 42% more likely to achieve your goals and dreams just by writing them down on a regular basis” according to the Huffington Post. Go grab a journal and jump start those goals!

Very Visionary

Another way to get those goals rolling is by creating a vision board. If you don’t know what that is, it is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations of your dreams and desires meant to inspire and motivate you to attain those things. So great crafty and start cutting out those quotes and pictures of palm trees in Cabo, you never know what you might end up attracting into your life!
