It’s Almost Time for the North American International Auto Show
The North American International Auto Show is right around the corner! Open to the public January 20-28 at Cobo Center downtown Detroit, NAIAS will feature the latest and greatest in new vehicle models and concept cars bringing excitement and enthusiasm to car lovers and auto show enthusiasts.
We always look forward to NAIAS and we’re happy to announce that we will be covering the show during press week in partnership with A Girl’s Guide to Cars. We are eager to share the ins and outs of the show, vehicle reveals and manufacture info on your favorite vehicles. We will also be focusing on why steel still drives the automotive industry.
The automotive world is constantly changing, improving and impressing it’s community. Technology also changes frequently. But, the one thing that never lets us down and remains consistent is steel. Steel protects us and keeps us safe and steel is still a major component when making today’s cars. The Steel Market Development Institute (SMDI), a business unit of the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), serves as the voice of the steel industry. Their mission is to increase and defend the use of steel by developing and communicating innovative materials and designs. SMDI works to differentiate steel based on its environmental performance and demonstrate steel as the highest value material in the automotive, construction and packaging markets.
