North Pole Open for Christmas

For some reason, I had a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit this year. I’m not sure if it’s because I started a new job that has kept me extremely busy, but wasn’t even in the mood to decorate this year and I’m usually the one that has a tree up and a wreath on the door the day after Thanksgiving.

After a rough day, I decided I needed to take a mind break. I pulled out ‘NorthPole: Open for Christmas’ and watched the magic that unfolded before my eyes. The story is about a woman that inherits an Inn but doesn’t have the time or desire to restore it to its day of glory.  As a child, she spent the holidays at her Aunt’s Inn relishing in the magic of Christmas and after returning she re-engages and finally finds the spirit of Christmas again.

The day after I watched ‘NorthPole: Open for Christmas’ something took over me, and I was knee deep in the holiday spirit. I bought Poinsettias for all the desks in my office and baked cookies for my co-workers. Then I bought four copies of ‘NorthPole: Open for Christmas’ at Walmart to give to others. I packed a special box for some special little ladies that included the movie, Christmas pajamas, warm fuzzy socks, and candy. My tree is up and a wreath is hanging on my door. I’m ready for Christmas!

If you need a great Christmas movie to watch, I highly recommend ‘NorthPole: Open for Christmas’!
