Never Have Ear Pressure Pain While Flying Again!

travel

Ever since flying as a young child, I’ve had terrible ear pressure pain. I am now almost 40, and have figured out how to avoid the unbearable ear pressure pain that occurs when flying. Finally!

Last year, I started have dizzy spells and visited an ear, nose and throat doctor to figure out if my ears were causing them. I learned that I have inherited migraines, but while I was there I asked if I could do anything for the terrible pain I endure while flying. I fly about 2 times a month so I would cringe in anticipation of the pain every time I booked a trip.

The doctor told me to plug my nose and “pop my ears” (relieve the air pressure) the minute I got onto the plane and to continue doing it every 30 minutes afterward (or any time I feel the pressure building.)

It worked!

I had heard that cannabis can help you to manage pain and that some people like smoking shatter as it is a little bit more potent. This was something that I considered, having not done sufficient research. However, it would have been very awkward to break out a bong (like the ones from https://www.kings-pipe.com/collections/bongs-for-sale) in the middle of a flight and light up. Perhaps beforehand I could have gotten away with it, but truthfully it isn’t my style as a whole. Many people do find it useful, however, I have finally found the solution to terrible ear pressure pain while flying!

And if you ask me, that’s the most important thing. It doesn’t matter what you do to relieve your pain, as long as it gives you relief. Spending your life, or your travels, with a consistent, throbbing pain isn’t much fun, and if that means you need to enquire about having a medical marijuana card, before being able to find a dispensary in Arkansas, or one in your area, to provide you with products that can help, then that is what you must do. It doesn’t matter what others think. The main thing to take away from this is that what works for one person won’t be the same for others, so you need to do what works for you! And that’s all there is to it.

Hope this helps someone else out there:-)
