The snow will eventually go away and it will be time to start your annual gardening. Why not get prepared with this fun presentation?
The Rochester Garden Club will be hosting a presentation by Janet Macunowvich, a renowned horticulturalist, author, speaker and enthusiastic teacher.
Her presentation “Designing for all Five Senses” will encourage gardeners to incorporate sound, scent, texture and flavor along with the usual visual pleasure that come along with gardening. Honestly I usually only think about the visual aspect and maybe the scent when I decide what to plant, time to broaden my outlook.
The presentation will be held at 11:oo am on January 13, 2015 at the Rochester Community House. The presentation is open to the public, but registration is requested. The cost to attend this event is $5. You can either call 586-336-3239 or visit www.RochesterGardenClub.org to register.
