Riverside Park, Ypsilanti, MI will be transported back in time to pay tribute to one of America’s most recognized figures –Elvis® Presley®. The 15th Anniversary of the Michigan Elvis®Fest is one of a handful of events that is sanctioned by Elvis® Presley Enterprises, Inc. The local charities that we are supporting this year are Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels, (YMOW) and the S.O.S. Shelter
For two special days, July 11 & 12th, 2014 there will be award winning Elvis Tribute Artists that will perform the songs from the hip-gyrating 50’s to the Jumpsuit/ Concert years of Elvis’ life. We are thrilled to bring back to the stage Leo Days, and Robert Washington, as well as your other favorite ETAs, including 3 new to Ypsilanti ETA’s, as well as other Tributes to Legends of the past. All backed by Chicago’s amazing Change of Habit Tribute Band, and Ronny Craig, a great performer in his own right, and the most sought after emcee will be there to take you on this journey.
Saturday only: Our kids korner will have 4 different bouncers, a balloon making magician, crafts to make & take, face painting and much more. Kids 12 & under are free to enter, and all kids activities are free. AND America’s Most Wanted Car Club will be bringing their classic cars, and fans can vote on their favorites.
YMOW will be selling tickets $5.00 each (in advance and at the show) for their fundraiser. The drawing for 3 fantastic prizes will be held on Saturday during the show.
