Did you see the news about the school in Salt Lake City seizing children’s lunches because they owed money?
What adult in their right mind takes food from a child?
When I ask my daughter what her favorite part of her school day was, she always says lunch. She says lunch because by the time she has lunch (12:30), she has gone about 6 hours from having her breakfast and a few hours from having a snack. She is HUNGRY at lunchtime.
The Uintah Elementry school threw out the children’s lunches and gave them fruit and milk.
The Detroit Mommies don’t think this was right at all. What would you do if this was your kid?
