My favorite blog in the whole wide world is Alisa Burke. I found her blog about a year ago and for 10+ years prior to finding her blog I had not touched a pencil to paper, a paintbrush to canvas or a watercolor to a fresh sheet of paper. She has inspired me to get back into my love of painting and creating art and inspired me to grab a few pumpkins and create some Halloween decor in my new home.
Alisa shared a tutorial on her blog of lace inspired painted pumpkins (here) that are far better than the ones I created. Even though I knew mine would not compare, I gave it a shot and painted my very first pumpkins ever!
