Alice in Wonderland returns to the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House this summer!  This year, visitors will be able to explore two art exhibits while at the Ford House, including “Almost Alice: Illustrations of Wonderland” by artist Maggie Taylor and “Alice, Art & Artifact” by students of College for Creative Studies.  In addition, families will be able to participate in interactive exhibits through “Enter the Story” by solving riddles at the Mad Hatter’s Table, playing dress up and more!

To kick off this summer-long event, The Edsel and Eleanor Ford House will present the Fairy Tale Festival on Saturday, June 29, 2013.

Since this year’s theme is Alice in Wonderland, there will be Alice characters, Theatric  Story Telling, Caterpillar Magic Mist Bubble Blowing, Cupcake Wonderland Decorating, Three-Legged Races Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum style, a petting farm, Parade Company floats and more! Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Children under 2 are free.

Check out the fun they had last year:

Our house loves the basically all of the Disney fairy tales, but I have to say the favorite would probably be Sleeping Beauty because it appeals to the girls and the boys for very different reasons.

My favorite fairy tale is Cinderella. I love how he falls immediately in love and spares no expense to track her down. True love and they live happily ever after. ..

Our favorite fairy tale is Rapunzel. I know its not a traditional princess but to my grand daughter Izabella she is THE most important Princess! we have watched Tangled so many times she can recite almost all of it and she is only 4. This would be awesome for her to win these tickets, would make some happy memories for her! Thanks!
