Well, I have some exciting news to share with all of you! I know you are all aware that Bon Jovi’s Because We Can Tour is coming to Ford Field on Thursday, July 18. 2013 at 7:30pm. But I bet you don’t have an idea who the amazing supporting act is…..I KNOW!
We have just received word that The J. Geils Band will be the supporting act for Bon Jovi!!! In case you need a reminder, let me tell you a little bit about the band. The J. Geils Band is an American Rock band formed in 1967 in Worcester, Massachusetts, under the leadership of guitarist J. Geils. The band played R&B influenced blues rock in the 1970s before moving towards a more New Wave sound in the 1980s. Since its initial break-up in 1985, the band has reunited several times. Their biggest hit was their 1981 single, “Centerfold”, which charted #1 in the United States in early 1982.
Everyone, should hurry and get their tickets as soon as possible! You surely don’t want to miss it!
