Scout Nights for Performances & Shows

Did you know that certain places in Detroit offer shows at a discounted rate, that are geared towards girl scouts and boy scouts? NEITHER DID I!? Not only can the scouts attend these together for a reduced rate, but they also can earn commemorative patches. That is fantastic! I still believe my little 5 yr old Daisy Scout does not understand the fact that she is a member of such a bigger and special group of ladies. I try to teach her that, but maybe after seeing all these other scouts at these performances, she may understand a little more.

For example, Feld Entertinment offers tickets for Scout Nights for Disney On Ice Shows (upcoming shows still available in March) , the Ringling Circus (coming soon), and Monster Jam!

Speaking of Disney on Ice, the Dare to Dream show is offering the discount for Friday, March 15 @ 7:30pm AND Saturday, March 16 @ 7:30pm.  Scouts, family and friends receive $4 off the $27 or $19 tickets. All Scouts receive a commemorative Scout patch.

Plus you can catch a glimpse of the “Behind the Scenes” magic right from your seat following the Friday night performance only!

Keep in mind, you can still get a discounted rate for tickets, if you do not attend with your troop, but the patches may get a little bit difficult to acquire and tickets will be more, because you will be responsible to pay other fees.

Lastly, keep in mind other venues will offer these types of nights too. I know The Lion King and Shrek both did recently. Unfortunately, we missed out on the Lion King and I was really bummed out, because it was discounted tremendously. I’m hoping that does not happen to our readers, that is why I wanted to let you all know! Please remember to ask your troop leaders about these offers or the venue itself!
