Holiday Happenings in the Canton Public Library

Depending on the age groups your children fall in, there are certain days everyone just needs to get out of the house. Whether you are looking for something educational, entertaining, or exciting to do – Canton Public Library might have the answer for you!

Family Holiday Cookie Competition

On Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2:00pm,  the Canton Public Library invites you to take part in their Family Holiday Cookie Competition. You can bring in a dozen cookies (or more!) from one of your favorite recipes, four to share with their panel of judges to evaluate on both taste and presentation and the rest to share with the lucky attendees.  While you’re at it, you may share your recipe on the Canton Public Library’s recipe blog here.

  • Prizes will be awarded  to the top three cookies of the bunch.
  • Please be advised that while all cookies are probably delicious, some may contain ingredients that may cause allergic reactions.
  • All will be labeled.
  • Please taste at your own risk.

Creatapillars December 2012

This program is tailored to kids who are 7 to 10 years old. You will let your creative side flow in their monthly program, Creatapillars. The exciting program will alternate between art themed and writing themed activities each month. For our December date, we will create festive noodle art. We will meet on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 7:00 – 7:45pm.
