Winter Break Drop-In Craft

Everyone is invited to the Purple Room, Thursday, December 27th from 1 – 3 pm  to create a fun, drop-in, do-it-yourself craft. No registration is required.

 

Winter Break Movie Madness

On Friday, December 28th, come to the Canton Public Library for an all day family movie extravaganza starting at 10:00 am. The times will be suited for youngest patrons at the earliest time and gradually getting more sophisticated, until the 3:00 pm showing of Snow White and the Huntsman.

10:00 am — Ruby and Max: Every Bunny Loves Winter and Little Bear’s Winter Games (G)

12:00 pm— Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (PG)

3:00 pm — Snow White and the Huntsman (PG-13)

You may bring pillows, snacks, even your own comfy lawn chairs if you like.

 

Kwanzaa Storytime

On Saturday, December 29th, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, join everyone in the Purple Room for a family celebration of Kwanzaa and it’s seven principles: unity, self-determination, collective responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.

 

Videogame Open House

On Friday, January 4th, from 2pm – 4pm, bring your friends to the library & game!  They will have the Community Room hooked up to Wii, PS3, Xbox 360 with Just Dance 4 on the big screen! Bring games from home or play those they have here.

Jill is a former teacher who is now a stay at home mommy, by choice, of her active 7 yr old daughter, Kelsey Anne, in Livonia, Michigan. On the side, she works as a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator for a Michigan based Protocol Company with 25 years experience, specializing in creating, managing, and producing gala events for dignitaries, celebrities and non-profit organizations throughout the country.
