We recently went to the LEGO KidsFest out in Novi. While we were there we stopped by a demonstration of the Bissell Perfect Sweep Turbo. You may be wondering, why was Bissell at the LEGO show – well, this handy little sweeper was picking up Lego bricks left and right – not big bricks, but the little ones that you step on all the time that hurt like heck.
I was lucky enough to take home a Bissell Perfect Sweep Turbo for a test drive. After using it for a few days I realized that I really liked this sweeper – it was so easy to use! Here are the main reasons that I love this sweeper:
- It’s has a rechargeable battery that has a 60 minute life – no cord to drag around. Just plug into a standard outlet to recharge.
- It works really well – I had just vacuumed with our regular sweeper and the Perfect Sweep Turbo still came up with quite a bit of dirt and lint.
- It’s quiet.
- It catches everything in an easy empty dirt cup – no bags to deal with. If you sweep up your lucky penny – no problem, just retrieve it from the dirt cup. Everything you pick up is in plain sight.
- It works on carpet, rugs and hardwood floors.
- The handle lies down pretty flat so you can go under things.
- The handle has a loop at the top so you can easily store it on a nail or peg.
- It was easy to assemble.
- The suggested retail price is $39.99.
