Yes, we went to our local nearby grocery store, Mike’s Market, to get some meat! They’re always so friendly at the meat counter and will cater to any special order we have! The prices are great too, plus it’s very high quality!
I tried to support as many small businesses as possible that day. The purple bear in Birmingham, love child in royal oak and peekabootique in west Bloomfield.
I shopped at one of my favorite local shops, Hazelwood Soap Company in Waynesville, NC.
We were in Chicago, so we went to Uncle Fun, a great novelty store.
We went to RWC and are ordering our shower glass door from them. It’s great to support out local businesses!
Leon and Lulu’s in Clawson. I could spend hours in that store, they have everything! Furniture, clothing, fancy bath stuff, candles, and hilarious gifts. I love love love it.
I supported local toy stores. The one in my community is ‘My Favorite Toy Store’. I love finding unique toys for my son.
We visited a local diner called Nick’s Diner – it was super good!
Yes, I was out shopping the small business in Canal Park in Duluth, MN!! The only names I can remember off the top of my head are Hepzibah’s Sweet Shopp and Northwoods.
I shopped at Light Years Jewelry store in Durham. They have some of the cutest things. I picked up an adorable owl clutch.
We went to our little downtown and popped in to a few neighborhood stores to pick up some goodies. Love supporting the little guys!
I supported Twisted Sisters, Home Amelia, my fave bakery & coffee shop…also Ace hardware, Kmart…I shopped small all over town!!!
I love shopping at our local coffee shop, Stonehouse. I also love shopping the online boutiques on etsy that are small businesses.
We have a local Vinegar and Oil shop called Olive Creations that I purchased some olive oils from.
I went shopping at a few small antique stores in the Mt Pleasant area with family. We found several ‘treasures’.
I picked up some toys and stocking stuffers at Little Monsters in Downtown Lake Orion…a fun place to shop!
I shopped at Tennis and Golf in Royal Oak. For the past two years they send email reminders about Small Business Saturdays. Smart marketing! Great store with good customer service.
I thought it was very cool how Amex promoted small business Saturday! I shopped at a cute gifty boutique called Pretty Penny. I was excited when I got the email from Amex that my $25 small business Saturday credit had been applied! Yay!
I went shopping at Watch Hill Home Interiors in Birmingham.. Found great unique gifts for my sisters and mother in law. It’s a wonderful store owned by a local husband and wife.
