Probiotic Sampling – did it work? #digestivehealth

For the last two weeks I have been taking a daily Member’s Mark Probiotic supplement. This is a dietary supplement that is supposed to help support and maintain a healthy digestive system – per the box. The supplement contains four strains of natural, beneficial bacteria. They were easy enough to use and came in a handy bubble pack that had the days stamped on them so you could remember if you had taken the tablet or not. Since I had signed up for this project to improve my health I also decided to increase my exercise level. I normally walk 4 days a week for about 45 minutes each day. I increased it to 6 days a week. I liked the extra 2 days of exercise and plan on sticking with that schedule.

I was a little skeptical at first about turning four different bacteria loose in my stomach but I figured what to heck. The two weeks are up and I am here to report that I noticed no difference in my digestive habits. In all fairness I did not have any digestive issues prior to taking the supplement, so about one week into the experiment I gave a couple of the packets to a friend who had mentioned that she sometimes had issues with bloating and regularity. I talked to her yesterday and she said that after three days of taking the supplement she did notice a definite improvement in her “routine”.

While the product didn’t produce any results for me, they seem to make a positive improvement for those that do have digestive issues.
