Village Hosts Annual Halloween Spooktacular

Everyone loves to wear their Halloween costume,
so why not extend the holiday by a day? Join the Village of Rochester Hills for their free
Halloween Spooktacular costume party and parade on Saturday, October 30 from 2:00
p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Village’s Festival Park (rain or shine).

The Halloween Spooktacular is a perfect fun-filled family afternoon for the community.
A professional Music in Motion DJ will entertain the crowds with music, dancing,
karaoke and contests. Children of all ages can also participate ghostly games, win prizes
and candy, while supplies last. “The Village’s annual Halloween celebration has become
a festive community staple, drawing several hundred guests each year” said Jessica
Presner, Village Marketing Manager. The fun will conclude with a parade down Village
Main Street, where guests of all ages can show off their awesome costumes and of
course, gather some more sweets.

During the costume party guests will be delighted by local Detroit area pop group,
TRUE, an all girl singing and dancing group that have been wowing the audiences
around town. This group is comprised of eight girls ranging in age from 10 to 15 years
old. For more information about TRUE, visit www.truesings.com.
