Oakland County Parks and Recreation Kicks Off Fall With Autumn Family Golf Fest

Golfers age five and older are invited to tee off into fall with Autumn Family Golf Fest at 2 p.m. on Sept. 18 at Red Oaks Golf Course, and Sept. 25 at Glen Oaks Golf Course.

“Families can participate together in an afternoon of golf and fall activities that are seldom offered at a golf course, such as a hayride and campfire,” Recreation Program Supervisor Laurie Stasiak said. “Golfers and non-golfers alike will enjoy the fun outdoor event.”

The golf outing includes 9 holes of golf, hayride, hot dog picnic, campfire and campfire treats.

Cost is $20/person for golf and festivities (carts not included); or $5/person for hayride, campfire treats and picnic only (begins at 5 p.m.).

A parent or guardian must be present.

Registration is required one week in advance. Tee times will be assigned. To register, visit the Events Calendar on DestinationOakland.com.

Red Oaks Golf Course is located at 29600 John R Road in Madison Heights.

Glen Oaks Golf Course is located at 30500 13 Mile Road in Farmington Hills.
