First Day of School and Requests for Volunteering…Oh My!

This week was my daughters first week of 1st grade.  I was prepared for the folder of flyers that came home with her today because last year was the same…join the PTA, sign up to work on this committee,  volunteer for that event, write a check for the yearbook, ect.  It can be a bit overwhelming and getting organized can be challenging, especially when you have multiple children going to school at once.  I really don’t know how some moms do it!

Not only is volunteering a challenge, but can you imaging being the coordinator?  Keeping track of who is doing what and when can be a nightmare that I’m not looking forward to endure!  Well, I wasn’t until I started working on this back to school campaign and heard about a website called VolunteerSpot.com that helps you coordinate your events and volunteers to help make life and going back to school much easier!  And, most importantly, it was designed by a mom and it’s a free service…love it!
