Need to Relax?

The Rochester Community House continues to offer a variety of enrichment classes for people of all ages and interests.


For those looking to find something more relaxing, Introduction to Meditation classes will begin at the Community House on July 19 and run through Aug. 9. The four-week course, taught by Jenna Aviva Lee, will teach participants simple techniques for calming and focusing the mind, relaxing and healing the body, sending positive energy, and more through the fourth state of consciousness. Participants should bring something to cover their shoulders as the body temperature will lower. Chairs will be provided, but those who prefer the floor should bring their own mats. Class times are 7:35-8:35 p.m. Mondays, and the cost is $40.
