Fieldtrips For All: Lunchables Contest

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Lunchables. All opinions are 100% mine.

There’s nothing more interesting and exciting, when you are kid, than a field trip.  Getting out of the classroom to learn in a hands on environment is not only fun, but way more interesting and memorable.

Lunchables Lunch Combinations wants to help deserving kids across the country go on inspiring, educational experiences with the launch of the program, “Field Trips For All”.

“Field Trips For All” is the first effort from the Lunchables Team’s new initiative called Project Potential. Aimed at empowering kids with opportunities to help them reach their full potential, Project Potential will provide enriching experiences kids might otherwise not have.

Why:
According to a 2009 report from The American Association of School Administrators, it’s estimated that over the course of the current school year, the number of school districts eliminating field trips will increase by 56 percent. That’s more than 30,000 schools.  That’s a lot!

How:
Anyone 6 years of age or older can nominate a deserving classroom by going to https://www.lunchables.com/potential/ and submitting a nomination. From all nominations received, 50 classrooms will be selected to go on an inspiring, educational experience.

I’m going to nominate the school I found back in October of last year when I was working on the campaign A Day Made Better with Office Max.  The students are in an area that is not only cutting back on the “extras”, but they are also closing school doors and combining elementary and junior high schools.  Kids deserve an education that is rich and fruitful.  Not one that is lacking and meager.

Do you know a school or a teacher that deserves this wonderful opportunity?  If so, nominate them for Field Trips For All and leave me a comment below letting me know who you would nominate!
