In honor of Armed Forces Day, Oakland County Parks is offering patrons free entry on May 15.  Guests can enjoy the natural areas and trails at Addison Oaks, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks and Rose Oaks county parks. The trails and dog parks at Lyon Oaks and Orion Oaks county parks are ideal for dogs and their owners.

Patrons can visit Addison Oaks, located at 1480 West Romeo Road in Leonard; Highland Oaks, located at 6555 Milford Road in Highland; Independence Oaks, located at 9501 Sashabaw Road in Clarkston; Lyon Oaks, located at 52221 Pontiac Trail in Wixom; Orion Oaks, located at 2301 Clarkston Road in Orion Township and Rose Oaks, located at 1132 Fish Lake Road in Rose Township.
