I Moved To Michigan and Guess What I Got…ALLERGIES!

We moved to Michigan almost 2 years ago and since then, I have had year round allergies!

I had never had allergy problems in my whole entire life and kaboom….sinus headaches, dry red sensitive eyes and dry red skin.  All a result of living in the most beautiful state of Michigan.

These allergies affect me year round.

Because I love living in Michigan, I refuse to move just because I am suffering from these inconveniences.  Instead, I have learned how to manage my allergies…well, kind of…

I take over the counter Allavert and use saline nasal spray and Tylenol to manage the sinus headaches.

When my eyes are red and bloodshot I recently found some Homeopathic allergy eye relief drops by Similasan that took the red away and soothed my eyes in a matter of minutes.  I used it without my contacts in and then maintained using Visine for contacts drops.  I am so happy I found these drops thanks to Stacey who ran to the store during Gleek Retreat to buy these drops for me when my eyes hurt so bad that I couldn’t see!

Allergies are one thing they don’t tell you about when you plan to move to Michigan, but hopefully these tips will help you manage them if you live here or decide to move to lovely Michigan.
