Oakland County Parks helps parents build a love of nature in their children starting at a young age through Tuning Your Tot into Spring, a 25-year-old program that celebrates nature with the youngest explorers.

Tuning Your Tot into Spring will be held Wednesday, April 21 from 10-11:45 a.m. or 1-2:45 p.m. of Saturday, April 24 from 1-2:45 p.m. at the Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks park located at 9501 Sashabaw Road in Clarkston.

Children ages three to six are invited to sing, discover, hike, craft and snack the way through a spring morning or afternoon. The program will focus on “Nature Noise – the sounds we hear outside.”

The cost for the program is $2 per tot.
