To celebrate April as Financial Literacy Month, Comerica Bank is partnering with area organizations for various activities during Money Smart Week, April 17-24.

During the week, Comerica will host free special events, including a Money Smart Festival and a financial literacy program geared toward senior citizens.

Comerica’s Money Smart Week events that are open to the public include:

·        Money Smart Festival, April 17 from 3-6 p.m. The public is invited to learn how to manage money, credit cards and savings. Free.

·        Protecting Your Investment, April 22 from 12-2 p.m. Learn the basic principles of budgeting and keeping money safe. Also, learn about money scams and fraud and how they may affect senior citizens. Free to seniors. Call (313) 928-2828 to register by April 20.
