I’m so excited to tell you about a children’s book, that I got to review, called There’s a Monster in My Lunchbox by Elizabeth Lange Cannella.

The title alone grabbed my attention and then after reading There’s a Monster in My Lunchbox, I was hooked.  Not only is it fun to read as a parent to your child, but my 4 year old laughed and pointed to the illustrations as I read the story to her.  She was very engaged.

Also, the author, Elizabeth Lange Cannella is a mother of four and lives right here in Michigan!  This is her first published children’s book, but I don’t think it will be her last!

I love to read The Giving Tree to my babies. I have read it to all 6 of my children. It reminds them that love happens everywhere and for no reason at all. I have been sharing this book with my children since I started reading it to my stepdaughter at age 6, she is now 15. My 8 year old learned to read off this book and it helps greatly with her Speech Apraxia.
