With a warming trend in progress, the greens are open at Red Oaks and Glen Oaks golf courses.

Early bird and cash only rates are $5 per person for nine holes or $10 per person for 18 holes.  These rates will be offered through March 25. Golfers are asked to walk the course; riding carts will be made available as course conditions improve.

“Our loyal golfers are anxious to get back on the course. We’ve had phone calls inquiring when the courses will open for the past two weeks,” Darlene Rowley, Supervisor Golf Revenue and Operations, said. “We want to make our golfers happy, but at the same time want to ensure course conditions will be up to the quality Oakland County Parks is known for all season long.”

Red Oaks, a nine-hole course, has been closed for the last year due to a major construction project by the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office . The course is located at 29600 John R in Madison Heights. Glen Oaks is located at 30500 Thirteen Mile Road in Farmington Hills.
