I want to invite you all to head up I75 to Zehnder’s Snowfest this weekend. They’ve already started, but there’s still time to catch the amazing snow and ice sculptures and all the other fun things going on. They have an apple pie contest, kid’s area, warming tent and much more. Check out their web site before you go. You can download a schedule of events so you can plan your trip for the thing you most want to see. My kids and I have gone over there every year and we love it. It’s new every year!! Our local news even did a newscast from a “Snowdesk”.

This is the blurb from the Zehnder’s Snowfest web site.
Zehnder’s Snowfest has been host to one of the top snow sculpting events in North America for the past 19 years. Visitors have enjoyed larger-than-life snow sculptures and beautifully detailed ice carvings each year.

Zehnder’s Snowfest 2010 will again dazzle and excite you with snow and ice sculptures created by professional ice and snow carvers from around the world.

Zehnder’s Snowfest is also host to the National Collegiate Ice Carving Championship and the High School Snow Sculpting Competition.
In addition, Zehnder’s Snowfest will have entertainment for the entire family in the warming tent, a fireworks display, petting zoo and children’s activities. Plan now to attend Zehnder’s Snowfest 2010!

Be warned, DRESS WARM!! There’s a lot of walking around, so make sure you wear comfy boots!

If you go, come back and share your thoughts here. Would love to hear what you think of Snowfest!

Check out their site and be sure to watch the video montage from the 2008 Snowfest. https://www.zehnders.com/snowfest/
