No Dropped Calls

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Verizon and asked if I’d like to review the Droid, so for the last couple of weeks, I’ve been playing with my loner toy.

I really, really like the Droid because I feel like I have a mini computer in the palm of my hand. I can check my email, tweet on Twitter, tell my life story in real time on Whrrl, keep up with my Facebook friends and then play with all kinds of extra apps, but the apps are not why I like the Droid…they are a bonus, but the phone itself is super magnificent!

The quality of the photos the Droid takes is top notch. You must remember to hold still and wait for the flash unless you want a complete blur, but that would be user error, not the Droids fault. It is so easy to take a photo and share to email, Facebook, Whrrl, ect.

I tried the video and my lips were not syncing with my voice. It worked just fine, but would probably be better for action shots without verbiage.

My emails have been coming in just fine and I’ve been able to keep up with my responses. It has been quite nice.

And, bet of all…no dropped calls, no searching for a signal, no frustrating inconveniences. The phone and service have exceeded my expectations.

Disclosure: I was given the Droid from Verizon to review. The opinions expressed in this post are mine and mine alone and are not influenced in any way by anyone.
