November is National Family Caregiver month and here at DetroitMommies we are proud to be apart of an amazing contest to celebrate these great people and raise awareness. Tell us who the heroes are in your life that provide care for your family and loved ones. This could be an individual that cares for your children or that special person who provides exceptional care for your grandfather at a nursing home.
To nominate a person who deserves to be called a Care Hero click HERE to access the facebook fan page. You must be a facebook user to nominate a Care Hero. Here is how it works; go to CareDotCom’s fan page on facebook and post on their WALL a picture and short story of the “hero” you’d like to nominate and “why” they should win. Additional comments to your post from friends and family will help your nominated hero WIN so be sure to get everyone involved by asking for their support!
This contest will run through the month of November 2009 and one GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive a $500.00 “Care Package” including a hotel stay, tickets to a show and a lovely dinner! Also, the nominator will receive a $100.00 restaurant gift card. And if you nominate a weekly winner, you’ll receive a FREE, 3 month Premium Membership to Care.com. It’s that easy!
It takes a very special person to become a Caregiver for the young, elderly and the health challenged. Here’s your chance to give a very special THANKS for everything they do. Good luck!
DetroitMommies appreciates your support and comments! We look forward to seeing you on facebook as well! To “become a fan of” DetroitMommies on facebook click HERE!
