The Phoenix Players present The Secret Garden at the Historic Green Oak Township Hall

On November 13 -15, the Phoenix Players present the book you loved as a child in a heart-warming play for the whole family to enjoy.

The Phoenix Players will perform Frances Hodgson Burnett’s The Secret Garden in their new theater home- The Historic Green Oak Township Hall located at 10789 Silver Lake Road in South Lyon, just two miles of east of US 23.

The Secret Garden tells the story of Mary Lennox, a spoiled child and difficult child, who is sent to live at her uncle’s estate in England after her parents pass away in India from the “cholera.”

The estate turns out to be a gloomy place for a little girl but Mary eventually finds happiness in the garden with the help of Dickon, the gardener’s assistant, who has amazing talent for talking to animals and making things grow.  Dickon helps Mary unlock a secret garden.

Show times are at 7 p.m. on Friday, 3 and 7 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.  Reserved Seating for adults is $12, children, students and seniors is $10.  General Admission is $10 and $8.
