Celebrate Halloween by Being Green

The Troy Museum and Historic Village is hosting  a green Halloween event Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 1-3 p.m.

There will be story telling, a bubble station where kids can make their own bubbles, music, informational teaching about recycling and composting, a Smart car on display, an arts and crafts tent, live bats, healthy trade-free and organic candy and recycled pencils.

The museum will also be giving bags for all the children’s goodies that are made out of recycled corn!

Adults are $3 and children are FREE with a gently used book for donation.

The Troy Museum and historic Village is located at 60 Wattles Road.
