If you haven’t had a chance to see the new adorable Zhu Zhu Pets , you are missing out and so are your children!
Zhu Zhu pets are toy hamsters that are battery operated. They make cute little noises, spin around, go forward and backwards and literally look and act like the real thing.
There are different pieces that together make up a maze that the pets run through. And, you know those plastic balls that hamsters run around in? There is one of those too!
The great thing about Zhu Zhu pets that most parents would agree is the best feature of all… no mess! No poop, no shavings and no food to have to buy.
Zhu Zhu pets are recession proof! The only thing you will need to make sure to have on hand at all times… batteries! Your kids will have hours and hours of fun with these furry little robotic hamsters.
I was given the opportunity to throw a party with the Zhu Zhu pets and the children loved them! By the end of the night they had all named their hamsters and were looking forward to getting the pieces to make an obstacle course of their own.
Two thumbs up for Zhu Zhu pets!
[…] got the opportunity to throw a party and play with the furry little guys and they are a riot. Run, don’t walk to your nearest […]
Boycott greedy and selfish online resellers of this toy. They are artificially inflating prices. The only tool we have is our wallets, and they should not be rewarded for their abhorrent behavior.
I know it is difficult to tell your child that they will have to wait for something they desperately want. My 6 year old has responded to the incessant commercials too. But delayed gratification is a good life lesson.
Here's hoping that all the online resellers get caught with a truckload of these little guys that they can only sell at retail prices… OR LESS.
This is the base toy for all of the Zhu Zhu or Go Go pets sets my daughter ablsolutely loves them! She plays with it constantly. She is 4 and takes the pets everywhere she goes…just really, really cute!
If you are having a hard time finding them, one way to get one is to use a free tracker service that lets you know when a Zhu Zhu Pet is in stock online : http://www.zoolert.com/zhu-zhu-pets-tracker
Two thumbs up for Zhu Zhu Pets from a mom that doens't have the room, time or money for a real one : )
I understand how you could be upset…I remember the Cabbage Patch craze! I wouldn't penalize the people buying the pets or the company making the pets or the retailers selling the pets, but I wouldn't agree with going on Ebay and buying one from a person selling one at a ridiculous price…those are the people that should be boycotted!
My daughter wants one very bad for her birthday. In my efforts to try and find one, I have been dismayed at the selfishness of some people buying these things up just to turn around and sell them for astonishingly high prices! I am going to start a boycott of these things! I am sick of getting ripped off by people who just want to make a profit at the expense of our children it is sickening and you people should be ashamed. Whoever buys Zhu Zhu pets you are just fueling the fire! Stop makeing the working class, who only care about making their children happy, pay the price.
My son wants one of these. I think they look like fun but I can already tell it is a toy that my son will constantly play with for a couple of days and then completely forget it exists! Thanks for the review!
These toys have flaws and create a safety hazard. A child has already been injured by the hamster. The wheels spin fast and change direction. They can severely pinch skin and not release. Also, the wheels can very easily get caught on a child's hair and be very difficult to remove without loss of hair and pain. My grand daughter was injured playing with this toy. Customers should be very aware. I would not recommend this at all.
They are tough to find, but you can find them at the third party sellers through my link above. They're pretty cool toys…good luck!
I so want them for my DD's birthday .. it's in October and we are having her party the 10th!! Going to check that site out now!
Oh you are so lucky to get to try them out! I have been given the task of trying to find these for my little cousin for Christmas. They are already sold out all over NY and NJ!!
