If you love to sing and would like to join a large chorus, a long-standing group in the Troy community is looking for you.

The Troy Community Chorus <>  will be accepting new and returning adult members beginning with its first fall rehearsal on Tuesday, Sept. 8. The chorus has been a part of the Troy community for the past 31 years.

There are no auditions for the general performances and members do not have to be a Troy resident to participate.

If you’d like to join the chorus, registration begins at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8 and 15 at Troy Athens High School chorus room. Rehearsals are every Tuesday from 7:30 p.m.  – 9:30 p.m., starting on Sept. 8. It costs $30 per person or $50 per couple to join the group.

The chorus is lead under the direction of Mimi Gass of Royal Oak and accompanied by Min Sook Chung of Troy.

Established in 1978, the chorus and has grown over the years as a non-profit organization dedicated to the production of high-quality choral entertainment.
