I love having giveaways on my blog for my readers because I get the chance see old readers and meet new ones, so when I was contacted by Melissa & Doug to see if I’d like to do a review and giveaway I jumped at the opportunity. You see, Melissa & Doug is one of my favorite brands for children’s toys, so I know you, my readers, will love them too!
We already have a few Melissa & Doug puzzles that my girls love and I like because of how well made they are. Most of Melissa & Doug toys are made from wood. You will see the occasional plastic piece, but if they can make it out of wood, they do. I was at a toy store just yesterday admiring an ice cream set for my daughters, complete with wood cones, actual scoops of pretend ice cream and two pretend scoopers and was so tempted to buy the set…it was adorable and once I inspected it’s contents, I realized it was a product from Melissa & Doug. I wasn’t surprized!
When asked to pick a puzzle to review and give away I made my choice carefully because I wanted a puzzle that was going to be both educational and fun. I ended up choosing the Jumbo Numbers Chunky Puzzle because I liked that the numbers went up to 20 and I knew my girls would not only learn while playing with this puzzle, but also enjoy themselves at the same time.
I was right! They got really excited and made a game of it by turning all of the pieces upside down and then picking them up and placing them in the correct spot. They did this for quite some time asking me what certain numbers were and asking me what comes next. They really enjoyed the puzzle and I enjoyed knowing that they were learning while having fun.
Well, how would you like to win a Jumbo Numbers Chunky Puzzle of your own?
To win:
Go to Melissa & Doug’s puzzle section and tell me what puzzle you’d choose and why.

If I won I'd like the Jumbo Numbers Chunky Puzzle because my daughter knows how to count to 10 but needs to work on getting to 20.

I think the Bear Family Dress-Up Puzzle looks fun. So many options…not only one way to put it together. It would entertain for quite some time, I imagine.

I had no idea they had so many puzzles!!! I like : Bug-Catching Magnetic Puzzle Game because it looks like a fun extra activity. You could use it as a traditional puzzle, or as a fishing game.
