Courtney Velasquez is the ultimate, multitasking Detroit mom! She runs two blogs The Digital Mommy and Detroit Mommies , works full time for Collective Bias and has 3 girls under 7 years old.
Courtney founded Detroit Mommies in 2009 after moving from California to Metro Detroit. She saw a need for a place that moms and dads all over Detroit could go to find out what events were going on in and around Detroit.

Courtney has worked on various projects for well known companies like Johnsons & Johnsons, Dove, e.l.f., Stride Rite, Sorel, 20th Century Fox, The Palace, Melissa & Doug, Panera, Tiny Prints, Disney on Ice, Ford, GM, Cover Girl, Hersheys, Walmart, Pepperidge Farm, Tyson, Genesis Today, Clorox, Verizon, Target (to name a few).
Courtney is a Purex® Insider, an Ambassador for the TV show The View and a Max Mom for Office Max. She recently headed a project called Better Basket for Hershey’s where she gathered 20 bloggers together to make Easter baskets and each participant was asked to choose a charity to donate their basket to. Detroit Mommies donated the baskets to the nurses of Children’s Hospital in Detroit.
She recently worked on a project with Feeding America and Conagra Foods to help raise awareness about childhood hunger in a campaign called Child Hunger Ends Here. Courtney hosted three local events and traveled to LA to the set of Desperate Housewives for the launch of this campaign.

Rebecca Thomas is a web content manager by day and mommy to two little princesses by night. She also does freelance writing and web content consultation in her free time.
Rebecca has a degree in journalism, but has never had a real job in newspapers. Instead, she has been working on websites and content since she graduated in 2010 and loves working in the education environment.
Rebecca likes to write about things she enjoys, including camping, kids and technology. She blogs about nursing babies at The Nursing Mommy and also Unexpected Smiles, where she tries to find the happy things in life and share them with everyone.

Stacy Swann is a freelance writer, wife, and mom of two beautiful young ladies. She blogs about her everyday life at My Life of What Ifs and covers Livingston County and beyond for Detroit Mommies.
Stacy spent over 12 years working as a Talent Supervisor in the Detroit advertising industry. She paid talent, negotiated with celebrities and licensed music for a variety of clients including Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Lincoln and Mercury. As that industry began to decline she longed for a change of careers and more flexibility in her schedule so she returned to writing, her first love.
Now, in addition to her blogging duties, Stacy writes for the Jackson Citizen Patriot, Flint Journal, Bay City Times, and the Saginaw News. She also reviews chick literature for The Examiner.

As a Spanish teacher with a Master’s degree in Bilingual Education, Jennifer has lived and taught in Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, and Texas. She and her husband are dedicated to raising their children in a bilingual household, and forming the Bilingual Fun Company was a natural fit to their lifestyle. Her company has been featured in Redbook Magazine, Family Circle, Good Morning America, ABC News, Fox News, and Entrepreneur.com. Also, The Bilingual Fun Company has produced an award winning DVD series called Spanish for Children which has made its way to the shelves of Borders Bookstores. The interactive language classes are available throughout Metro Detroit and a licensing program is in the works to be launched nationwide.
