Courtney started blogging in 2008. After moving from California to Metro Detroit in 2009, she saw a need for a place that moms and dads all over Detroit could go to discover events happening in and around Detroit. She launched Miami Mommies to meet the same need in 2011 for moms and dads in southern Florida.
When she’s not in front of her Apple computer or iPhone, Courtney enjoys running, cycling, hiking, spending time with her blended family, traveling and exploring the culture and community of her new home in Northwest Arkansas.

She is also an active Ambassador to numerous brand named products out there. She used to participate a lot through the Detroit Free Press Moms Like Me blog.
Her daughter starts Kindergarten in the fall, and she is just trying to deal with that by creating different ways to keep herself busy and not worried.
Nicole is a single mother to two yellow-haired boys, ages nine and seven, who keep her on her toes (you never know when a surprise RKO is going to happen) and on the go (soccer anyone?). After more than a decade in the Hawaiian islands, Nicole traded in palm trees for pine and returned to Michigan to raise her children near family in the sub-suburbs of metro Detroit. By day she does the impossible, making industrial labels sexy as the Marketing Coordinator for Mac Arthur Corporation, but her true passion and expertise lies in designer bargain shopping. The founding editor & chief deal finder of the popular designer-shopping-at-a-discount blog, “The Sale Rack“, Nicole, along with her blogging partner Mary Kang, have built a loyal following of budget conscious fashionistas who follow them online and via Facebook and Twitter at @TheSaleRack. Actively involved in the Detroit fashion scene, Nicole is also the Social Media Chair for Fashion Group International – Detroit.
