My Journey to Losing Weight Using Sensa- Day 17

I started using Sensa last Sunday, September 20, 2009. I must admit I forgot to sprinkle my food a couple of times, actually quite a few times to be accurate.
All in all, I have been very bad at sprinkling the food I’ve been eating and feel like I need to start over and not only sprinkle EVERYTHING for the diet to work correctly, but also watch what I eat.
I had pizza at the Zhu Zhu party, a mighty kids meal from McDonalds, a small bowl of ice cream and a few other foods that would not be considered good for a diet, but I wanted to try this diet by using it the way it’s intended. Eat what you want to eat, sprinkle the tastants and lose weight.
One thing I can tell you is that I haven’t been as hungry while using Sensa, my portions have gotten smaller, I haven’t been craving sweets and I don’t feel starved.
I do feel satisfied.
So, with that said…tomorrow I am getting back up on the horse to continue in my quest to lose 10-20 lbs by the New Year.
Do you think I can do it? How would you like to join me and we can do this together?
If you’d like to try Sensa free for 60 days and receive a $25 discount card to use at www.glow.com (click here).
( If you take advantage of the free 60 trial offer, you have 30 days to try the product free of charge. If you like it, you do nothing, and you will then be billed for 60 day supply. If you do not like it, you can return it within the trial period and not pay anything but shipping. If you decide they don’t like the product and don’t want to get charged, you will need to ship the product back. However, you can keep the $25 glow.com gift card.)
I’ll be updating you on my progress with Sensa. I really hope I am able to lose this weight because I’m not happy at all with the fact that I have an entire closet full of clothes I can’t wear…ugggh!

My Journey to Lose Weight Using Sensa- Day 1

Today I started a new diet.
It has been 9 months and 8 days since I gave birth to my youngest of three girls and I still have 30 lbs to lose to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 130lbs.
Thirty pounds is quite a bit of weight to lose, so I know this will be a challenge, but I’m ready to fit back into all of the clothes that are collecting dust in my closet.
After the birth of my middle daughter I lost all of the weight I gained and then some and got down to 130 lbs and wore a size 4/6. I felt great and looked great, but was starving. I did a diet that consisted of pre-packaged foods that you drink, drank a ton of water and ate one meal a day, other than the packaged foods, that consisted of a chicken breast and a vegetable. I was starving for three months straight, but did it and lost 30 lbs. My hair fell out, like after you have a baby and your hormones are all out of whack, I was very irritable and all I could think about was my next “meal”. It really sucked!
I gained the weight back when I got pregnant and now after going through the starving myself method of losing weight, I could never go back. Yes, it worked, but it sure was a miserable process to go through!
I have been given the opportunity to try a new product on the market for weight loss called Sensa and I’m very excited to see if it works and at this point I’m quite skeptical.

You see, the diet consists of these shakers that say sweet on one side and salty on the other side. On foods like pizza, sandwiches, salads, ect. you sprinkle the salty and on foods like pie, ice cream, fruit salad or yogurt, you sprinkle the sweet. Extra TV host Dana Devon lost weight with Sensa according to this article in Daily Candy.
There are no guidelines about what to eat and when, no pre-packaged foods and no starving. You eat what you want, when you want and sprinkle the Sensa all over the foods you are eating… that’s it!
So, today was Day 1 of using Sensa:
- I don’t feel hungry
- I weighed in at 160 lbs.
- I’m 5′7″
- My upper arm measurement is 13 3/4
- My thigh measurement is 24 1/2
- My waist is 38 1/2 inches around the fattest part
- My chest (under bra) is 34 inches
- That’s pretty much all I can tell you.

I’ll be updating you once a week on my progress with Sensa. I really hope I am able to lose this weight because I’m not happy at all with the fact that I have an entire closet full of clothes I can’t wear…ugggh!
