2nd Annual Preservers 5K Run/Walk & Half Mile Mini Superhero Kids Race

Don’t Miss Your Chance to Be a Superhero

In many ways, we are all Superheros! Now your chance has come to dress like it!   Join the Genesee County Park’s Superhero team for their 2nd annual Preserver 5K Run/Walk Saturday, May 11, 2019. The race begins at 11:00 a.m. Walk-ins must register by 10:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their Best Superhero gear for a friendly 5K trail run/walk through For-Mar!  All finishers will receive race medals and additional awards will be given to the top three runners who cross the finish line.

The run/walk is safe for ages including 6 and older, all abilities. The cost is $15 per person until 5/6/19. After 5/6/19, the cost is $20 per person. Extra shirts may be available on a first come basis. Pre-registration is required by 5/6/19 to receive a race shirt. 

If you sign up for the 2nd annual Preservers 5K Run/Walk & 1/2 mile Mini Superhero Kids Run by the end of the day today May 6th you will get a race T-shirt and medal to show off your superhero powers!  You can still sign up after May 6, but must be registered by 9:30 am on Saturday, May 11, to participate. Is your little superhero interested? Allow them to join the 1/2 Mile Mini Superhero Kids Run. Let your little one spread their wings and soar with the For-Mar Superhero team, as they show off their superpowers during For-Mar’s ½ mile Kid’s race.

We encourage your mini superheroes to dress up in their favorite Superhero gear. Kids get a For-Mar race medallion after the race. For kids up to age 16, all abilities. Please arrive at 10:00 a.m. The cost is $5 per person which includes a race t-shirt if pre-registered. Pre-registration is required by 5/6/19 to receive a race shirt. Walk-ins for the Kids Run must be registered by 9:30 a.m.

Would your kids like to play with others instead of racing? The Kids Superhero Training Area will be available for drop off. Little ones can practice their superhero skills with games and activities in the Kids Superhero Training area. A staff member will be available to watch children for parents who are running or walking in the race. Click HERE to learn more and to register.
