The Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year is the world’s largest holiday event, lasting for as long as two weeks. With billions of celebrations around the world, Detroit’s festivities are at the forefront! Make sure you celebrate the year of the pig at these fabulous Michigan places!

Don’t feel like going out? Bring the party to your house by celebrating right at home. Cook up some traditional Chinese dishes, decorate with lanterns, pass out fans, and make sure everyone wears the lucky color red.
