Turks and Caicos!  It’s a Must Do Vacation Getaway

What is Turks and Caicos one may ask?  It’s a travel destination ranked on many travel sites as a destination with some of the best beaches in the world. The Islands are not overly developed, and it is becoming one of the best beach vacation destinations, ever.  The Caribbean is full of amazing islands, but Turks and Caicos is known for the most turquoise waters and beautiful pristine beaches. The islands are British Overseas Territory which consists of the large Caicos Islands and smaller Turks Islands. Turks and Caicos have eight main islands that are inhabited and over 40 smaller islands. What’s unique is there are coral reef barrier walls that allow the waters to be calmer and more radiant shades of blue.

The main tourist island that most people visit is Providenciales or otherwise referred to as Provo. This island has a fourteen-mile barrier reef along the Northside.  The most famous beach on this island is Grace Bay Beach. This is where most of the resorts are located for tourists. Grace Bay Beach has the most amazing white, thick and soft sand and will be one of the best you’ll ever see. When you walk along this beach, you will see many resorts but not high-rise after high-rise just more boutique smaller resorts. That may change as the island’s continue in popularity.  Just watching the sunset from Grace Bay Beach is an unforgettable sight to see as the shades of blue, orange, and yellow are all so stunning.
