2nd Annual Detroit Festival of Books

Books for Everybody!

Do you love to read?  Well we have an event for you!  The 2nd annual Detroit Festival of Books is almost here!  Located in Sheds 5 and 6 at Eastern Market, the Festival of Books is a free and open to the public event to be held July 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Detroit Festival of Books

The primary focus of what used to be called the “Detroit Bookfest” is used, rare, antiquarian and unusual books. Guests will also find unique items such as vintage board games, vinyl records, comic books and local Michigan authors selling their own books. 

Entertainment will consist of  FUNK music by DJ Zig-Zag, food provided by The Nosh Pit Detroit, Nu Deli, Big Dog’s Hot Dogs, Detroit Gourmet Nut Company, Cosmic Burrito, Cherry Pit BBQ, Beer for 21+ provided by Downey Brewing Company and Eastern Market Brewing Co.
