Young Living Essential Oils
I’ve been using and selling Young Living Essential Oils for some time now. However, I’ve never really opened up about it for a couple of reasons.
1. If you would have told me I’d ever join a direct selling company I would have laughed my head off. It’s not my style because I am terrible at sales. If you don’t believe me, you can ask some of family and friends!
2. I’m not one of those people that chug the kool-aid. I know every one of you knows someone that sells XYZ and swears it’s the most life changing thing that has ever happened to them. I’m all about products that help improve health, wellness and the environment, but when someone tells me a product can flat out do magic, or they are obsessed with everything about every single product, I’m skeptical.
3. I really love this space and respect my readers, so I try to be thorough in my experience and research before sharing things with you.
However, because of those reasons, I actually feel like I’ve done a disservice by not sharing what I like about Young Living with you. After all, I chose to partner with them, right? Over the past year or so I’ve bought many of the products to use for my family and have been impressed by the sourcing and testing of their ingredients and their dedication to quality through independent outside studies. That’s not to say I’ve loved every single product. I’ve used the money back guarantee myself once (and can vouch that it’s pretty easy).
So after much trial and error- here are my top 5 favorite products.

Thieves Household Cleaner – is a natural all-purpose concentrate that can be used in every room in your home, without the harsh chemicals. I dilute the cleaner in a spray bottle to make a kitchen counter spray. But you can dilute the cleaner in bucket, or use it straight for extra strength. The dilution ratios are listed right on the label for your convince. Wherever you use it, you’ll feel good knowing it’s safe to use around everyone in your family, including pets.
KidScents – MightyVites Chewable Tablets – These things freaking rock. I was really hoping they’d taste like candy (they don’t), but my kids still take them every morning. I love that they include a full range of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytonutrients that deliver whole-food multinutrient support to improve my kids general health and well-being.
Shutran Shave Cream – I recently ordered this for my husband and he loves the smell and so do I! It is made with pure essential oils and moisturizing botanicals to deliver a close, smooth, hydrating shave. It provides a frictionless glide to reduce razor burn and nicks. What’s not to love about that?
Thieves Automatic Dishwasher Detergent – This stuff. I don’t have enough words. It’s something I didn’t use for a while because I didn’t know if it would really work as well as my Cascade did. But I can’t recommend this stuff enough! It is a chemical free natural dish soap and is environmentally friendly! Plus I just did the math and it is 62 cents per load.
I could go on about how they use no toxic chemicals, how they have a long, solid history and the lengths they go through to ensure they are environmentally neutral, but for brevity sake, I won’t.
