Holiday Gift Ideas for Your Favorite Health Nut

If you are anything like me, once the holiday season begins so does your list of gifts to buy.  Which is why I put together this Health and Fitness Wish List.  These are all things I’d be happy to receive. (Hint, hint to anyone looking to get me a gift!)  Some of these things I already have and I know other fitness lovers would like to receive them too.

90 Degree Womens Power Flex Yoga Pants – What woman on your list wouldn’t want some workout clothes?! I’ve tried SO many other workout clothes, and these are by far the most durable and long lasting. They come in a variety of colors and styles!

Hydro Flask  – Give the gift of hydration! A water bottle can be a great way to encourage others to drink more water throughout the day or perhaps be the perfect way to enhance their workouts.

MudGear Compression Socks – You can never have too many compression socks! I got mine fairly grimy from completing a Spartan Race this summer and I would love to replace them with this shiny and new one! Compression socks aren’t just any old socks, they serve a purpose and they can benefit your health too! I was recently on a website like sockwellusa.com/pages/why-wool and I found out that you can even get compression socks made of wool – how cozy!

Lacrosse Ball – A lacrosse ball is a MUST in every gym bag! I use mine daily.  They are perfect for working out those tight muscles after an intense workout.

Ortho Sport Massage Oil –  Combines pure vegetable oils with therapeutic-grade essential oils such as Wintergreen, Peppermint, Thyme, and Oregano.  Which is great for the professional and amateur athlete. Ortho Sport has a warming sensation which is perfect for use after exercise.

If you don’t find the perfect gift here; a gift card is always a lovely surprise!!

Gym Passes – Give them the gift that truly keeps giving and helps them improve their well-being. When you give someone the gift of fitness, you are helping them open a door to better health (both physically and mentally).

Along with gift cards to a local Spa, Lole or Lululemon store are all great options!

What do you have on your holiday fitness wish list this year?

Meghan is a busy mom of two children, Holden 6 and Nora 4. She is the Program Coordinator, a Personal Trainer and Conditioning Coach at Starting Line Health and Fitness. Health and fitness has always been a very important part of her life, and, in the past, to a fault. After struggling with her own health and fitness goals she learned quickly that life is all about balance. Nothing more drove that point home more than her children. She soon learned that it was possible to take care of her growing family and herself. When she took care of herself, she found herself taking better care of her family.

She wants to share her success of raising a family and staying in great shape with those around her. She strives to show families how important it is for parents to be interested in their own wellness. Because through their interest in health and fitness their children can see first hand the importance of fueling and using their bodies in the right way!

Meghan wishes to teach, help and coach people to achieve their fitness goals and improve their lifestyle by finding balance.
