We are approximately 58 days out until Halloween! That seems like plenty of time, but in all reality that time will fly by and be gone before you know it. This is especially true if you are making your own costumes (yes that’s possible – check out how to make a Lavagirl & Sharkboy costume here!) as this will take a little longer. It will be interesting to see which costumes are most popular this year, as there is always one or two which seem to dominate the children’s costume trends. 2014 was the year of “Frozen” Elsa and Anna with over 3 million dresses sold to wishful princesses in less than a year. Choosing a costume while stores still have them in stock will make your kids happy trick-or-treaters and you won’t have to stand in the long lines of winey kids with frustrated parents. It’s a win, win situation!
