Who doesn’t love grilling during the summer month? The food tastes so good!  This year on Father’s Day we fired up the grill and cooked up five varieties of the new line of Kayem Artisan Sausage.

Kayem Sausage

What a treat!  We loved how flavorful they were.

They would go great with potato salad, baked beans, pasta salad – just about anything.  One lucky reader will win a grilling package that includes all five flavors!  Details on the giveaway can be found at the bottom of this post.

Everyone had their favorite but the Sweet Sausage and Fire-roasted Pepper Jack were the leaders at our get together.  The fact that these sausages are full cooked is a huge plus to me – they are so much quicker to put on the table.  They are all natural and the bacon in the Pineapple Bacon flavor is uncured – extra bonus.

Kayem’s newest line of all-natural Artisan Sausage puts a unique spin on the classic sausage with its five flavors: Pineapple Bacon, Andouille, Fire-roasted Pepper Jack, Sweet Pepper Provolone and Sweet Sausage. This exclusive New England sausage line is available at only at local Meijer markets in the cooked sausage section.  Each package includes four sausages and is priced just over $4.00 per pack.

The sausages are made by Kayem, New England’s oldest hot dog company and the maker of Fenway Franks. They are made with premium cuts of pork sirloin and are packed with flavor.  You can find out more about their products on the Kayem Website.
