Winter Fun at Dinosaur Hill in Rochester

Here are a few great ways to get the kids outside and enjoy the snowy season:

January 14, 2013:  Snowman-a-thon  Kids can build and decorate their own snowman. This fun event is inside and outside.  For kids ages 2 to 4, must be accompanied by a caregiver.  The fun begins at 9:30 and runs until 11:00 a.m.

The cost of the event is $12 for members and $15 dollars for nonmembers.

 

January 26, 2013:  Snow Catapult  Learn some of the science behind these super cool and rather amazing weapons from early times.  We’ll take our larger-than-life catapult out for the ultimate snowball battle. The fun begins at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. The cost of the event is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers.

 

January 31, 2013:  Let’s Go Cross Country Skiing   You will get to try out snowshoes and cross country skis, explore the preserve and look for animals.  Inside you can warm up with a snack and a craft.  The event runs from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. The cost of the event is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
