There are many Halloween and Fall events scheduled around the Metro Detroit Area.  Here is a short list of a few that sounded like fun.

 

Zoo Boo – Royal Oak

 

October 15th -17th, 22nd -24th and 29th – 31st

 

Trick or Treaters will follow a pumpkin lit treat trail through the zoo, while making pit-stops at treat stations along the way.  Games, prizes, arts and crafts, treats and a 3D/4D film are just some of the special activities planned for this event.  For ticket prices and availability please visit:  https://www.detroitzoo.org/

 

Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Patch – Birmingham

 

This event is scheduled for October 24th from 1 – 4 p.m.

Dress in your Halloween costumes and enjoy ghost golf, pumpkin bowling, crafts, live performances and bouncy houses.  This event is free and located at the Community House.

 

 

Trunk or Treat at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum – Auburn Hills

 

Event takes place October 21st from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills.  Dress in your costume and go trick or treating throughout the three floors for candy and trinkets from rumble seats, trunks and truck beds.  Some of the events and activities include; Halloween crafts, souvenir photos in the Graveyard Special Prowler, Refreshments and Halloween coloring stations.  There will also be a special scavenger hunt.  The cost of the event is $4 per person (2 years old and younger are free), Members pay $3.  Call 248-944-0460 to register or click here for the website.

 

 

Fall Camping at Addison Oaks – Boo Bash

 

This special event is scheduled for October 12th through October 14th.  Billed as a weekend of holiday fun with trick or treating.  Most activities take place on Saturday – including a pumpkin craft, campsite decorating contest, face painter, inflatables, haunted House of Horrors, hayrides and a costumed DJ dance.  Call the park for more special event information 248-693-2432 or click here for park information.
